Sex THerapy

A sex therapist offers counselling to help people deal with issues relating to sexuality and sexual functioning.  To understand and accept themselves as sexual beings and to meet their sexual goals.

  
Sex Therapists are sex positive, and maintain a broad perspective by taking factors such as biological, psychological, sociological and historical into consideration when addressing sexual issues .

Sexual Health issues may include:

  • Low sex desire

  • Premature ejaculation

  • Delayed ejaculation (difficulty in gaining or maintaining an erection)

  • Impotence/erectile dysfunction (difficulty in gaining or maintaining an erection)

  • Performance anxiety

  • Body Image

  • Difficulty with orgasms for women

  • Painful intercourse (Dyspareunia)

  • Vaginsmus (difficulty in achieving penetration)

  • Female sexual arousal/desire

  • Gender identity and sexuality; same sex; gay lesbian bisexual and transgender (glbt)
